Qualifications

5+ years of Union Payroll experience
Certified payroll reporting experience
Knowledge of California payroll rules and interstate differences
Ability to adapt to changes in prevailing wage laws and regulations
Experience with Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs

Responsibilities

Process payroll for 300-500 employees
Maintain required payroll records, filings, and reports
Ensure timely filing of required government forms and reports
Complete monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports and filings
Process, request, and manage IRS and state tax checks
Ensure accurate and timely processing, printing, and distribution of payroll checks in accordance with company policies, procedures, and government legal requirements
