Sylvan, Inc. is seeking a Payroll Specialist to manage weekly payroll for union and non-union staff across the US and Canada, including certified payroll tasks.

The role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and discretion with confidential information. You will work with HR and Finance to ensure compliance with union agreements and applicable labor laws.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related experience.
• Minimum 3 years of union payroll experience.
• Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office.
• Strong understanding of payroll laws and regulations, especially unions.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• High level of accuracy and discretion with confidential information.

• Process Certified Payroll
• Ensure accurate and timely submission of union reports and payments

• Collaborate with HR and Finance departments to ensure compliance with union agreements and labor laws
• Prepare and submit required reports to union representatives and government agencies
