KHS&S is seeking an experienced Union Payroll Professional to join our team. We are looking for an individual who is detail-oriented, highly organized, and knowledgeable in payroll processes—especially those involving union environments. The primary duties and responsibilities consist of, but are not limited to:

• Process weekly payroll for union and non-union personnel including reviewing and entering employee timecards
• Ensure payroll is compliant with federal, state, and local regulations
• Assist with onboarding and data entry of new hires.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date I-9 and W-4 documentation
• Work directly with union representatives and apply union rules, CBAs, and pay structures
• Assist with payroll tax reporting and compliance
• Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries
• Collaborate with HR and accounting teams to support payroll operations

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of payroll experience; union and multi state payroll experience strongly preferred
• Experience with certified payroll is a plus
• Familiarity with I-9, W-4, and other onboarding compliance requirements
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite
