Qualifications

• JD degree from an accredited law school; bar license in the state.
• 5+ years of experience in labor relations, with focus on accounting/finance.
• Proven expertise in creating agreements, handling union contracts and negotiations.
• Strong knowledge of labor agreements, HR, and labor/employment laws.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all aspects of labor relations within the organization.
• Develop, implement, and manage policies/procedures related to labor relations.
• Create and craft agreements, negotiate union contracts, and strategize negotiations.
• Provide overall union contract administration, language interpretation and guidance on labor issues.
• Oversee the grievance process and resolve issues in a timely, satisfactory manner.
• Collaborate with HR and management to ensure policy/law alignment.
• Advise management on labor law regulations to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.
• Build positive relationships with union representatives and employees.
