Job summary

ssacareers is seeking an Operations Labor Manager to direct and coordinate union labor, equipment, and resources for safe, compliant operations. The role exercises independent judgment over labor personnel and managerial staff in line with company policies and CBAs.

The manager will oversee safety, security, productivity, labor relations, and execution, ensuring budget adherence and effective shift deployment across operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years managing union labor in a comparable environment.
• Valid Driver's License and ability to obtain and maintain a TWIC card.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates hiring, assignment, evaluation, discipline, and termination of labor personnel per policy and collective bargaining agreements.
• Directs work of foremen and supervisory staff based on needs and workforce availability.
• Maintains knowledge of collective bargaining agreements and enforces them in operations.
• Investigates workplace incidents, safety violations, and labor complaints; reports to senior management.
