The New York State Nurses Association (NYSNA) is seeking a Human Resources Director to lead the HR function and shape the organization's people strategy in a unionized environment. Reporting to the Chief of Staff, you will oversee recruitment, employee relations, compensation, benefits, and compliance while building a high-performing culture.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in HR with at least 5 years in leadership, experience with labor relations, and a commitment to social and racial justice.

Formación

• Ten+ years in human resources with at least five in a leadership role.
• Experience managing HR in political, labor, or advocacy settings.
• Strong knowledge of employee relations, employment law, compensation, and recruitment.
• Experience negotiating and administering collective bargaining agreements.
• Ability to lead a small HR team and work with unions.
• SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead HR programs and services supporting staff.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, benefits, compliance, and HRIS.
• Develop policies and foster inclusive culture.
• Partner with staff unions for contract negotiations.
• Coach managers on performance reviews.
