Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield seeks an Union Operating Engineer to ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems at the assigned property. The role includes routine rounds, preventive maintenance, painting and general housekeeping to keep facilities safe and reliable.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in commercial property operations, with a high school diploma or GED and preferred apprenticeship or trade school training.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related work experience in operating mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in a commercial property setting.
• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent; apprentice/trade school preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate plumbing, electrical, or HVAC requirements of the building(s).
• Maintain heating equipment, chillers, DX units, pumps, cooling towers, air distribution systems.
• Monitor and adjust mechanical/pneumatic equipment and control systems to ensure comfort.
