Smith & Wilkinson is seeking an AVP-level Allied Healthcare Underwriter to join its newly launched Allied Healthcare Professional Liability program in the United States. This is a fully remote opportunity focused on small to middle-market accounts.

The role will manage broker relationships, handle new business and renewals, and help refine underwriting appetite, expand distribution, and support the program’s long-term trajectory.

Our North American MGA client is growing in the U.S. and seeking an AVP-level Allied Healthcare Underwriter to join its newly launched Allied Healthcare Professional Liability program. This is a fully remote opportunity focused on small to middle-market accounts.

This individual will play a key role in shaping the program’s growth by managing broker relationships, handling new business and renewals, and building a profitable book. The role offers the opportunity to help refine underwriting appetite, expand distribution, and support the program’s long-term trajectory.

A minimum of 6 years of production underwriting experience in Allied Healthcare Professional Liability is required as well as established wholesale broker relationships. The position offers strong compensation and bonus.
