Great American Employer Health Solutions is seeking an AVP of Underwriting to lead underwriting operations, shape strategies, and drive profitability across medical stop loss and level-funded plans. You will mentor a high-performing team, optimize processes, and partner with internal and external stakeholders to balance risk and value.

The role demands a strong background in underwriting leadership, risk evaluation and regulatory compliance, with a focus on group health markets.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in business, economics, risk management and insurance, or related field.
• Minimum 13 years underwriting or related experience, including at least 6 years in leadership.
• Strong knowledge of risk evaluation, pricing, portfolio performance, and regulatory compliance.

• Develop and implement underwriting strategies aligned with division goals and financial targets.
