Promont Insurance Advisors, a DOXA company, seeks a highly motivated Lead Underwriter to scale its Allied Healthcare program. You will drive profitable growth by evaluating, pricing, and renewing business while strengthening broker distributions and maintaining underwriting discipline.

This production-led leadership role partners with claims, compliance and operations to ensure a seamless underwriting lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of underwriting experience focused on Allied Healthcare or related casualty lines.
• Strong emphasis and proven success in new business production.
• Established distribution relationships across retail and wholesale brokers.
• Experience underwriting Allied Healthcare risks and related professional liability exposures.
• Background in E&S market with strong underwriting discipline.
• Demonstrated ability to operate in a leadership capacity (team lead, mentor, or formal management).

Responsabilités

• Evaluate, select, and price new and renewal business to develop and maintain a profitable book.
• Develop and maintain strong distribution relationships, communicating risk appetite and negotiating terms.
• Partner with claims, compliance, and operations to ensure a seamless underwriting lifecycle.
• Contribute to underwriting strategy and mentor team members to elevate program performance.
