Job summary

Philadelphia Insurance Companies, a member of the Tokio Marine Group, is expanding its Compliance team with nationwide consideration for an Underwriting Audit Supervisor. This role oversees the underwriting audit program, analyzes results, and partners with leadership to drive corrective actions and process improvements.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree and 7–10 years in underwriting/QA/compliance, with at least 3 years of leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required in relevant field.
• 7–10 years of commercial underwriting, underwriting compliance, QA, auditing, or related experience.
• At least 3 years of leadership, supervisory, or management experience preferred.
• Experience conducting underwriting file reviews and compliance assessments.
• Experience presenting results to senior leadership and managing corrective action initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Oversee underwriting audit program and staff.
• Develop annual audit plans, priorities, and methodologies.
• Ensure audits follow standards and procedures; manage workload and quality control.
• Monitor productivity, completion rates, and reporting timelines.
• Evaluate files for compliance with guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Identify risks and trends from audit findings; develop corrective actions.
• Produce executive reports, dashboards, and metrics; present to leadership.
• Lead process improvements and special projects to enhance underwriting quality.
