LIO Life is seeking an Underwriter in Conshohocken, PA to support the development of profitable Casualty Construction business within LIO's E&S division. You will work with underwriting, actuarial, and legal teams to manage risk and develop production with wholesale partners.

The role requires collaboration across departments, strong analytical skills, and experience with underwriting systems. This is a full-time position based in an office environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required with strong analytical abilities.
• Insurance coursework or credentials are preferred.
• Ability to collaborate across levels and teams.
• Experience working in a virtual/global environment is desirable.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Support brokers and insureds with eligibility, endorsements, billing, and policy information.
• Articulate LIO's underwriting appetite to wholesale partners and prospective accounts.
• Use underwriting systems and AI-powered tools to support risk evaluation.
• Review referrals and loss history to evaluate risk quality and completeness.
• Select, price, quote, and decline new business per guidelines and sound judgment.
• Partner and maintain collaborative relationships to grow profitable business.
• Participate in other projects and duties as assigned.
