Job summary

Freeport-McMoRan is seeking a hands-on position at the Henderson Mine, a large underground molybdenum operation. The role involves operating processing equipment at high elevations and maintaining strict safety standards while supporting a shift-based, on-site mining environment.

Minimum two years of trade experience and familiarity with material handling equipment are required; candidates must complete required assessments and may participate in internal progression programs.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of experience in trade.
• Experience with material handling equipment.
• Must have completed academic and practical competencies and pass a written assessment.

Responsibilities

• Operate processing equipment per operating guidelines.
• Control and monitor conveyors, transfer chutes, and flotation/grind mills.
• Identify, report, and assist with machinery maintenance needs.
• Perform area housekeeping and maintain a safe work environment.
• Work under minimal supervision in a safety‑driven setting.
