Job summary

USIC is hiring field technicians to locate underground utilities across the United States. You will work outdoors in a fast-paced environment using a company vehicle and modern equipment, performing precise mark-outs for various utilities with safety as a priority.

No prior locating experience is required, though prior outdoor work is a plus; training is provided and advancement opportunities are available through our extensive Career Path Program.

Qualifications

• Able and willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Proficiency with technology.
• Available to work overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed.
• Able to pass a drug screen (safety-sensitive position).

Responsibilities

• Correctly, safely, and efficiently locate underground utilities across designated areas.
• Thoroughly search for utilities, mark locations, document findings, and photograph each locate.
• These are daytime, full-time positions.
• Must be able to work overtime, weekend shifts, and on-call shifts (including nights and weekends).
