Job summary

USIC Locating Services, LLC is hiring for field locator roles across outdoor environments. You will work in the field with a company vehicle, perform safe locate operations, and maintain accurate documentation.

No prior locating experience is required, though experienced locators are encouraged to apply. Training is provided, with a clear path for advancement and benefits once onboard.

Qualifications

• Able and willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Proficiency with technology.
• Available to work overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed.
• Able to pass a drug screen.
• Valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Able to distinguish colors identifying wiring.
• Able to read locate tickets, maps, and prints.
• Effective communication with colleagues, customers, contractors, homeowners.

Responsibilities

• Correctly, safely, and efficiently locate underground utilities across multiple systems.
• Search designated areas, mark locations, complete documentation, and photograph each locate.
• Work daytime, full-time with possible overtime and weekend/on-call shifts.
