Job summary

USIC is seeking field locators to locate underground utilities, document locations, and photograph sites with company-provided equipment. You will work in the field, in various weather conditions, overtime and on-call shifts as needed, and support our 48-hour turnaround standard for tickets and mark-out services.

Qualifications

• Outdoor work in varied weather conditions required.
• Ability to pass a drug screen.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in confined spaces.
• Ability to read locate tickets, maps, and prints.
• Strong communication with team, contractors, and homeowners.
• Proficiency with technology and safety-conscious mindset.
• Previous outdoor experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Locate underground utilities safely and efficiently.
• Document locations, complete necessary paperwork, and photograph sites.
• Work in designated areas with field tools and company vehicle.
• Support 48-hour turnaround on locate tickets and mark-outs.
• Work overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed.
