Job summary

USIC Locating Services, LLC is seeking outdoor-oriented field technicians to locate underground utilities with a focus on safety and accuracy. You will work independently in the field using a company vehicle, marking locations and documenting findings for project records.

No prior locating experience is required, though experienced locators are encouraged to apply, and we provide a comprehensive training program and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions.
• Proficiency with field technology and equipment.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen; safety-sensitive role.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs and work in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Locate underground utilities safely and efficiently in designated areas.
• Document, mark, and photograph each locate for records and communication.
