Job summary

USIC Locating Services, LLC is seeking a field locator to identify underground utilities and mark locations in various outdoor environments. You will use a company vehicle, complete tickets and photos, and coordinate with excavators and homeowners.

This is a daytime, full-time position with overtime, weekend and on-call requirements as needed. No prior locating experience is required, but welcomed along with a safety-first mindset.

Qualifications

Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Proficiency with technology and reference materials.
Able to pass a drug screen; safety-sensitive role.
Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
Able to lift up to 75 lbs and work in confined spaces.
Able to read locate tickets, maps and prints.

Responsibilities

Locate underground utilities accurately and safely.
Mark locations and complete required documentation and photos.
Work daytime, full-time shifts with overtime, weekends and on-call when needed.
