Job summary

USIC is seeking a Locator to locate underground utilities in designated areas, using company vehicles and equipment. You will work in the field, marking and documenting each locate with photos, while following safety and quality standards.

No prior locating experience is required, but applicants should be comfortable outdoors, able to work overtime and weekends, and pass a drug screen. Training is provided, with opportunities for advancement within a safety-focused team.

Qualifications

• Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Proficient with technology and locating tickets/maps.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Able to pass a drug screen (safety-sensitive role).
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs and work in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Locate underground utilities safely and accurately.
• Mark locations and document/site photos for each locate.
• Work daytime, full-time with overtime and on-call as needed.
