Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year field experience with utility mapping or SUE preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to read maps, blueprints and communicate with team.

Responsibilities

• Identify utility pathways and designate and mark utilities with flags or paint.
• Safely excavate to expose subsurface utilities using hand tools.
• Read utility records, as-built drawings, and highway design plans.
• Record field data and deliver to the office with accurate records.
• Maintain and operate SUE equipment and company vehicles.
• Coordinate survey work with the SUE crew chief and attend meetings.
