Job summary

Bear Creek Construction, Ltd. in Irving, TX, is seeking an Underground Site Utility Purchasing and Project Coordinator to coordinate materials, logistics, and documentation for commercial underground projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in project coordination, purchasing, or operational support.
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines under pressure.
• Exceptional attention to detail, especially reconciling purchase orders to vendor invoices and tracking costs.
• Native or professional fluency in English with strong written and verbal communication.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including building spreadsheets and drafting formal correspondence.
• Ability to work in an office with four-legged coworkers (dog-friendly).
• Preferred: hands-on underground wet utilities, plumbing, or commercial civil site construction; bilingual; familiarity with automated PO systems.

Responsibilities

• Procure materials for project start-ups and ongoing sites by coordinating with estimators and project managers.
• Organize and submit all material submittals and documentation for new utility installations.
• Track heavy equipment locations and manage daily mobilization logistics across active project sites.
• Authorize purchase orders and reconcile invoices with high accuracy.
• Maintain purchase tracking within an automated PO database to support cost accounting.
• Prepare project reports and participate in weekly scheduling meetings.
• Manage change orders and maintain official project correspondence throughout the lifecycle.
