Job summary

USIC is hiring for Drop Bury Technicians in Texas. The role involves locating underground utilities and performing drop bury work at residential and commercial sites. You will use maps and records, trench or bore lines, and document each locate and burial for billing purposes.

The position requires physical endurance, the ability to work outdoors in all weather, and strict adherence to safety standards. Training is provided, and a company vehicle is supplied for work.

Qualifications

• Outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
• Strong safety focus and attention to detail.
• Able to read locate tickets, maps, and prints.
• Good communication with customers, teammates and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Drive to outdoor job sites and perform locates and drop bury tickets.
• Locate and mark underground facilities using records, maps and prints.
• Operate locating equipment and trench or bore cable lines (6–8 inches deep).
• Use smartphone and software to record time and locate data for billing.
