Job summary

USIC Locating Services, LLC is seeking a Drop Bury Technician to perform underground locate work across outdoor sites. The role involves driving a company vehicle, referencing records and maps, using locating equipment, and trenching or boring cables 6-8 inches deep, while ensuring safety and documentation compliance.

Applicants must be able to work outdoors in various weather, lift up to 75 lbs, and pass a drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Drive company vehicle to outdoor job sites and perform locates and drop bury tickets
• Reference records/maps/prints to locate and mark underground facilities
• Operate locating equipment and follow procedures for accurate locates
• Use digging equipment or hand tools to trench or bore cables
• Document hours and locate results in company systems
• Adhere to safety procedures (OSHA) and company policies
• Take photos and complete required documentation
• Maintain equipment and supplies; coordinate with stakeholders
