Job summary

USIC Locating Services, LLC seeks Drop Bury Technicians to locate underground utilities and safely bury coax and fiber lines at residential and commercial sites. You will search areas, mark locations, and complete bores while maintaining accurate records and photos for compliance.

Candidates should be able to work outdoors in various weather, pass a drug screen, and communicate clearly with customers and teammates. A valid driver’s license and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• Outdoor, independent field work with safety focus.
• Strong communication with customers and teammates.
• Ability to operate locating and digging equipment per procedures.

Responsibilities

• Drive to job sites and perform locates and drop bury tickets.
• Reference records and prints to locate and mark underground utilities.
• Use locating equipment to ensure accurate locates and markings.
• Operate digging equipment or hand tools to trench or bore 6–8 inches deep.
• Document time worked and locate outcomes for billing.
