USIC Locating Services, LLC is seeking a Drop Bury Technician to perform locates and burial of cables at residential and commercial sites. You will drive a company vehicle, reference maps, mark utilities, and document work while adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Pass a drug screen; safety-sensitive position.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
• Walk long distances; lift up to 75 lbs.; work in confined spaces.
• Able to read locate tickets, maps and prints; communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Drive company vehicle to outdoor job sites and perform locates and drop bury tickets.
• Reference records, maps, and prints to locate and mark underground facilities.
• Operate locating equipment and follow procedures for accurate locates.
• Trench or bore cable lines 6-8 inches deep using digging tools.
• Use mobile apps to log time and document located facilities for billing.
• Adhere to safety procedures per OSHA and company guidelines.
• Take process photos and complete required documentation.
• Check equipment and supplies daily; ensure operational readiness.
• Coordinate with utility reps, contractors, property owners, and teammates.
• Demonstrate professional and respectful behavior.
