Job summary

Ansco & Associates, LLC is seeking a Foreman on our Telecom Underground team to lead crews in the installation and maintenance of underground telecommunication systems. You’ll ensure safety protocols and project timelines are met while coordinating field operations.

This role emphasizes hands-on leadership, blueprint reading, and adherence to OSHA and DOT safety standards. We offer weekly pay, PTO, 401(k) match, education reimbursement, and more benefits.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• A valid driver’s license.
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• At least three years of related work experience.
• Previous Foreman experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead crews to meet project timelines.
• Help with training of crew members.
• Read and interpret blueprints.
• Enforce company safety policies, OSHA, and DOT rules.
• Assist Supervisor with day-to-day activities.
• Discuss work with property owners and resolve issues.
• Operate heavy equipment safely.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Do

• Lead crews to meet project timelines


• Help with training of crew members


• Read and understand blueprints


• Help ensure everyone is following company safety policies, OSHA, and DOT regulations


• Assist Supervisor with day to day activities


• Speak with property owners about work to be performed and resolve any issues


• Safely use heavy equipment and machinery


• Perform work in all weather conditions


• Other duties as assigned

What You’ll Need

• To be 18 years of age or older


• Authorization to work in the United States for this company


• A valid driver’s license


• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, relevant work experience, or a combination of education and work experience preferred


• At least three years of related work experience


• Previous Foreman experience preferred

Physical Abilities & Exposures

• Routinely: work alone in remote locations and in confined spaces with arms above shoulder level, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs and lift greater than 55 pounds


• Occasionally: use ladder, keyboard and mouse
