Job summary

Ansco & Associates, LLC is seeking a Foreman for our Telecom Underground team to lead crews installing and maintaining underground telecom systems, enforce safety protocols, and keep projects on schedule. You will read blueprints, coordinate field activities, and mentor crew members.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; related work experience preferred.
• Foreman experience preferred; ability to read blueprints and supervise field crews.

Responsibilities

• Lead crews to meet project timelines.
• Help with training of crew members.
• Read and understand blueprints.
• Help ensure everyone follows safety policies (OSHA/DOT).
• Assist Supervisor with day-to-day activities.
• Discuss work with property owners and resolve issues.
• Safely operate heavy equipment and machinery.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Do

• Lead crews to meet project timelines
• Help with training of crew members
• Read and understand blueprints

• Assist Supervisor with day to day activities
• Speak with property owners about work to be performed and resolve any issues
• Safely use heavy equipment and machinery
• Perform work in all weather conditions
• Other duties as assigned

What You’ll Need

• To be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• A valid driver’s license
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, relevant work experience, or a combination of education and work experience preferred
• At least three years of related work experience
• Previous Foreman experience preferred

Physical Abilities & Exposures

• Routinely: work alone in remote locations and in confined spaces with arms above shoulder level, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs and lift greater than 55 pounds
• Occasionally: use ladder, keyboard and mouse
