Job summary

Ansco & Associates, LLC is seeking a Foreman for our Telecom Underground team to lead crews in installing and maintaining underground telecom systems, ensuring safety and on-time project delivery.

You will read blueprints, supervise daily field activities, train crew members, speak with property owners when needed, and uphold OSHA/DOT safety standards in all weather conditions. This role requires at least three years of related experience and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Read and understand blueprints.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead crews to meet project timelines.
• Help with training of crew members.
• Read and understand blueprints.
• Ensure safety policies, OSHA, and DOT regulations are followed.
• Assist Supervisor with day to day activities.
• Speak with property owners about work to be performed and resolve issues.
• Safely use heavy equipment and machinery.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education

3+ years related work experience

What you’ll do

What you’ll need

• To be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• A valid driver’s license
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, relevant work experience, or a combination of education and work experience preferred
• At least three years of related work experience
• Previous Foreman experience preferred

Physical abilities & exposures

• Routinely: work alone in remote locations and in confined spaces with arms above shoulder level, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs and lift greater than 55 pounds
• Occasionally: use ladder, keyboard and mouse
