Job summary

MasTec Utility Services searches for an Underground Streetlight Groundman/Equipment Operator to support installation, maintenance, and repair of underground streetlight systems. They will operate light to heavy equipment, assist line crews with excavation and conduit work, and perform physical labor to ensure safe, continuous street lighting service in diverse areas.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver's license, with CDL Class A and 1 year of experience

Qualifications

• High school diploma, or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• CDL Class A driver's license (preferred).
• 1 year of experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare the construction site.
• Assist tradesmen in completing tasks.
• Identify utilities and watch dig crew to prevent hits.
• Clean up and maintain equipment.
• Restock trucks with supplies for crews.

Education
