Ideal candidates bring 1 year of relevant experience, a valid driver's license, and CDL Class A or OSHA 10 certification for preferred advancement within MasTec's diverse infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of relevant experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• 2+ years of experience (preferred).
• OSHA 10 Certification (preferred).
• CDL Class A license (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Operate jobsite equipment safely, such as mobile cranes, bulldozers, backhoes, excavators, and trenchers.
• Perform service, safety checks, and minor repairs on machines.
• Inspect work area and staking prior to digging.
• Work with maintenance crew or assist as laborer when not operating equipment.
• Dig around all live utilities, underground and overhead.
• Train or oversee lower graded operators and laborers when needed.
• Comply with safety standards and procedures and company or customer guidelines.
• Load trucks in a safe and accident-free manner.
• Support operations to improve efficiency and customer service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
