Rio Tinto in Arizona is seeking an Underground Project Coordinator to drive project execution through scheduling, cost tracking, procurement coordination, and document control. This role offers exposure to underground operations and a chance to contribute to safe, efficient project delivery within a collaborative team.

You will report to the Underground Operations Superintendent and work with operations, maintenance, engineering, project controls, and supply chain to keep schedules up-to-date

Competenze

• Experience in underground mining planning, scheduling or project coordination.
• Knowledge of underground development and production workflows.
• Proficient with scheduling tools and coordinating across multiple teams.

Mansioni

• Develop and maintain weekly, 21-day, and monthly schedules reflecting underground constraints.
• Maintain accurate cost tracking and budgeting visibility for projects.
• Coordinate purchase orders, deliveries, and vendor timelines with the supply chain.
• Organize project documentation and create clear dashboards for stakeholders.
• Track progress against plans and adjust schedules based on performance.
