Job summary

Redpath Mining Inc. seeks a Project Engineer to provide engineering support for underground development, mass excavation and construction projects in Arizona. You will oversee planning, scheduling, forecasting and resourcing to ensure accurate, high-quality deliverables.

The role requires 3–5 years of mining experience, a bachelor’s degree in mining/engineering, and strong knowledge of AutoCAD, Primavera and MS Office. Travel and field work are expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Mining environment experience required.
• Bachelor's degree in Mining or related engineering field.
• 3-5 years’ experience in mining environment.
• Proficient with AutoCAD and Primavera.
• Knowledge of underground mine development and shaft sinking.

Responsibilities

• Supports planning and coordination of the design and engineering process.
• Ensures designs comply with regulations and safety standards.
• Develops daily reports on underground mine development.
• Prepares construction drawings and supports crews to meet specs.
• Schedules activities with the Engineering Manager.
• Identifies and fixes field issues and tracks change orders.
• Tours work areas to verify quality and scope.
