Traylor Bros., Inc in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Cost Engineer to support project controls on underground construction. You will develop budgets, track productivity, forecast costs, and assist with subcontract management on site.

The role emphasizes collaboration, strong analytical skills, and attention to detail, working under the Project Controls Manager to keep projects on time and within budget.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business or equivalent required.
• 3-4 years of construction experience.
• Ability to read and analyze engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong knowledge of contracts and contract language.
• Identify, prioritize and mitigate project risk.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and SharePoint.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain project budgets, including changes in means and methods.
• Support cost tracking, reporting and forecasting with accurate coding.
• Assist with change order management and cost estimates.
• Help with monthly project cost forecasting and subcontractor analysis.
• Participate in project audits and support customer relationships.
• Provide training and guidance to clerical staff as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
