Job summary

MasTec Utility Services in the United States is seeking an Underground Foreman to lead crews on underground power line projects. You will supervise multiple crews, read blueprints, schedule work, and ensure safety and quality on site.

Responsibilities include coordinating field operations, training new hires, securing materials and permits, and maintaining production efficiency while upholding MasTec's safety standards and customer requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years of experience operating heavy equipment and general construction.
• 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee work related to each project and ensure quality and timeliness.
• Maintain safety standards and procedures on site.
• Facilitate toolbox talks and safety inspections.
• Coordinate and supervise daily tasks for crew members.
• Read blueprints and manage underground utility installation tasks.
• Train new hires and trainees to learn the trade.
