Job summary

MasTec Utility Services in Texas seeks an UGE Foreman to lead the crew building and maintaining underground power lines from plant to meter base. You will read blueprints, guide operations, and ensure work meets safety and quality standards.

You will supervise the Line team, train new hires, coordinate with other departments, and drive adherence to project schedules while maintaining a safe work environment in various weather conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 3 years of experience operating heavy equipment and general construction.
• 2 years of supervisory experience; Class A CDL required.
• 6+ years of experience including extensive supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the crew to complete daily tasks related to construction and maintenance of underground power lines, from plant/station to meter base and related facilities.
• Read blueprints and are responsible for production, safety, and quality.
• Oversee the Line team and ensure crew safety while coordinating with other departments.
