Job summary

Komatsu is seeking a highly motivated Field Technician - Underground Mining to support customers operating underground mining equipment across Arizona and other assigned territories. This role emphasizes mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting on heavy underground machines, with frequent travel to customer sites and the ability to work above and below ground.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Associate Degree in Diesel Technology or equivalent preferred.
Minimum of 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Flexibility to work various schedules including shift work.
Clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Maintain and repair various Komatsu equipment with a main focus on hard rock underground.
Timely, effective repairs of machine components in the Field.
Complete assigned jobs and task to meet flat rate times and re-do metric.
Work safely and follow all KEC/Customer safety policies and procedures.
Complete related paperwork and access databases require to complete job (work order, parts order, JSA, DBS, SIMS, SIS web, STW) accurately and timely.
Follow contamination control and HAZMAT rules and regulations.
