Job summary

Nevada Gold Mines is seeking a Process Maintenance Trainer to develop and deliver training for process maintenance technicians on the Phoenix Safety and Health Team. You will ensure skills, knowledge, and attitudes support safe, efficient, and environmentally sound operations.

The role emphasizes career-long safety, competency-based approaches, and collaboration with Process Management to update SOPs and training materials. A strong safety record is essential.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of training or mentoring experience in heavy industry required.
• Experience working with peer groups and focus teams.
• Ability to drive results and meet time-sensitive deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrate leadership, coaching, and influencing abilities.
• Commitment to promoting safety in training and leading by example.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; LMS experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain accurate training records per MSHA regulations.
• Lead transition to Competency Based Training.
• Develop, administer, and improve training programs based on site needs.
• Develop teaching outlines and select instructional methods (lectures, demos, workshops).
• Maintain safety-focused training culture and records.
• Coordinate annual refresher training for all employees.
