Job summary

Nevada Gold Mines is seeking an Underground Mobile Maintenance General Supervisor for the Goldstrike operations. You will lead safety-first maintenance activities for mobile equipment and supervise maintenance planning and personnel to protect employees and assets.

The role requires strong leadership, blueprints proficiency, and collaboration with the Maintenance Superintendent, with a rotating nights/days schedule and opportunities within a dynamic mining environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum ten (10) years of verifiable and related maintenance experience.
• Five (5) years of supervisory or lead experience preferred.
• Experience in a planned maintenance environment preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics required.
• Professional communication skills with all levels of employees both verbally and in writing required.
• Excellent leadership skills and knowledge of influencing others required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the safe execution of maintenance activities for various types of equipment (mobile).
• Support the maintenance objectives with the Maintenance Superintendent.
• Supervise the maintenance supervisors and plan their career development.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety, security and environmental policies and regulations.
• Participate in maintenance planning processes and objectives.
• Ensure departmental condition monitoring and reliability objectives are met.
• Administer company policies and procedures.
• Support operational objectives by managing costs and maximizing value.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
