Job summary

Jerritt Canyon is seeking an Underground Maintenance General Supervisor to provide leadership and technical oversight for underground maintenance activities. You will ensure safe, efficient execution aligned with mine plans and regulatory standards, leading a multidisciplinary team and coordinating with Planning, Reliability, and Operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Journeyperson/Red Seal trade certification strongly preferred in a relevant discipline.
• Technical diploma/degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field considered an asset.
• Formal leadership or maintenance management training is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership for underground maintenance teams including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic disciplines.
• Direct maintenance activities for underground mobile equipment and fixed infrastructure.
• Ensure preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs are executed effectively.
• Prioritize activities based on safety, production, and resources.
• Monitor equipment availability, reliability, and maintenance performance.
• Coordinate with underground production to minimize disruption.
• Develop weekly and monthly maintenance plans with Planning and Reliability teams.
• Lead, coach, and develop maintenance staff and contractors.
• Ensure proper scoping, scheduling, and execution of work orders.
