Job summary

First Majestic Silver Corp-Jerritt Canyon Gold is seeking an Underground Maintenance General Supervisor to lead underground maintenance teams and ensure safe, reliable operations. The role oversees maintenance for underground mobile equipment, fixed infrastructure, and production equipment, aligning with mine plans and regulatory standards.

The ideal candidate will bring 7–10 years in maintenance, 3–5 years in a supervisory role, and strong CMMS experience (SAP/Maximo).

Qualifications

Minimum 7–10 years of progressive maintenance experience, preferably underground mining.
Minimum 3–5 years of supervisory or management experience leading maintenance teams.
Experience with underground mobile mining equipment and production equipment.
Strong understanding of preventive, predictive, corrective and condition-based maintenance.

Responsibilities

Lead underground maintenance teams, supervising mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and related disciplines.
Direct maintenance activities for underground mobile equipment and fixed infrastructure.
Ensure preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs are executed effectively.
Prioritize activities based on safety, production needs, and available resources.
Monitor equipment availability, reliability and maintenance performance.
Coordinate with underground production to minimize downtime.
Provide technical guidance to frontline supervisors, tradespeople, and contractors.
Develop weekly and monthly maintenance plans with Reliability teams.
