Job summary

Jerritt Canyon is seeking an Underground Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Supervisor to lead safe, efficient, and reliable E&I activities in an underground mining operation in Nevada. You will oversee electricians, instrumentation technicians, and contractors, ensuring work meets regulatory standards and site procedures.

The role requires hands-on leadership, coordination with maintenance and engineering teams, and a focus on preventive and corrective maintenance of underground electrical

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Post-secondary education in Electrical Technology or related field preferred.
• Journeyman Electrician license preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive electrical/instrumentation experience.
• 2+ years supervisory experience.
• Experience with underground mining electrical systems.
• Strong knowledge of motor controls, MCCs, VFDs, transformers, switchgear, PLCs.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily underground electrical and instrumentation maintenance, installation, and repair.
• Lead E&I crews, electricians, instrumentation technicians, contractors, and other field personnel.
• Plan and coordinate work assignments based on production requirements and maintenance priorities.
• Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with mine safety regulations and company policies.
• Review electrical drawings, schematics, and control diagrams to support field activities.
• Coach, mentor, and develop E&I personnel.
