Job summary

Jerritt Canyon Gold is seeking a Mine Manager to provide strategic, field-visible leadership during a major restart and ramp-up of underground and surface operations in Nevada.

You will translate mine plans into disciplined daily execution, oversee stoping, development, rehabilitation, and ventilation, and drive safety, cost control, and production performance while building capable teams and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or related field preferred.
• Minimally 10+ years in mining with underground operations leadership.
• Strong knowledge of stoping, development, ground support, ventilation, and safety.
• Proven ability to lead teams through restart and ramp-up while maintaining safety and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead underground and surface operations through restart and ramp-up.
• Provide field-visible leadership to crews, contractors, and partners.
• Collaborate across departments to align resources and drive reliable production.
• Set expectations for safety, cost, quality, and accountability.
• Oversee underground mining activities including stoping, development, and rehabilitation.
• Drive daily planning, sequencing, equipment utilization, and incident reviews.
• Mentor superintendents, supervisors, and frontline leaders.
• Support budget development, workforce planning, and capital prioritization.
