Jerritt Canyon Gold seeks a Mine Manager to lead restart and ramp-up efforts, with a focus on underground execution, safety, and cost-effective performance across underground and surface operations.

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of underground mining leadership, strong business acumen, and a proven ability to translate mine plans into disciplined daily execution while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; substantial operating experience may compensate.
• Minimum 10+ years of progressive mining experience with underground leadership at superintendent/manager level.
• Strong knowledge of underground mining methods including stoping and drift-and-fill.
• Proven track record leading mining teams through restart/ramp-up with safety, compliance, and production performance.
• Strong business acumen with experience managing operating and capital budgets, production plans, cost drivers, contractors, and equipment utilization.
• Experience in MSHA-regulated operations is strongly preferred.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead mine restart and ramp-up by translating life-of-mine priorities and business objectives into safe, executable plans.
• Provide field-visible leadership to underground and surface teams, contractors, and frontline leaders.
• Collaborate across departments to resolve constraints and align resources for reliable production.
• Set clear expectations for performance, safety, cost, quality, and accountability; develop a high-performing culture.
• Oversee underground activities including stoping, development, rehabilitation, and services.
• Ensure coordination between underground, surface, maintenance, and processing teams.
• Drive daily planning, short-interval control, crew readiness, equipment utilization, and production reconciliation.
• Champion a health-and-safety-first culture with proactive risk management and critical controls.
• Lead incident reviews, corrective actions, and continuous learning to reduce risk and improve controls.
• Guide annual and rolling budget development, workforce planning, and capital prioritization to meet ramp-up and safety objectives.
