Job summary

150 Primoris T&D Services, LLC is offering an entry-level apprenticeship to become a qualified Underground (UG) Lineman. Apprentices will learn to construct, maintain, and repair underground electrical distribution and transmission systems under direct supervision.

Responsibilities include assisting with installation and repairs, reading schematics, operating tools, and participating in safety training. The program emphasizes hands-on learning with growth toward apprenticeship levels and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid ClassA Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or ability to obtain within a specified timeframe.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Willingness to travel and work extended hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist experienced Linemen with installation, maintenance, and repair of underground cables and equipment.
• Learn to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and diagrams.
• Operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, and machinery safely.
• Participate in trenching, digging, and backfilling for underground installations.
• Follow safety policies and PPE protocols; adhere to regulations.
