Job summary

Primoris T&D Services, LLC is seeking an UG Apprentice 1-8 to assist experienced underground utility crews with installation, maintenance, and repair of infrastructure components. The role emphasizes learning foundational skills, safety protocols, and teamwork in a construction setting.

You will support trenching, pipe/conduit/cable installation, and material handling under supervision, while adhering to PPE and safety policies. Growth opportunities and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with trenching, excavation, and backfilling using hand tools and basic equipment.
• Support laying and connecting pipes, conduits, and cables under supervision.
• Load and unload materials and tools at job sites.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and proper storage of equipment.
• Operate small power tools and equipment as directed and trained.
• Participate in training and development programs to advance skills.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Assist with site preparation and restoration tasks.
