Job summary

Primoris T&D Services, LLC is seeking Overhead Lineman Apprentices Levels 1–8 to join our Port Richey, FL crew. You will assist experienced linemen in building, maintaining, and repairing overhead electrical distribution systems and advance through the apprenticeship based on training and demonstrated skills.

Qualifications

• Experience with overhead electrical distribution or utility construction preferred.
• Physically able to perform demanding work including lifting, climbing, and working at heights.
• Willingness to travel or work extended hours, overtime, and emergency assignments.

Responsibilities

• Assist with construction, maintenance, and repair of overhead distribution lines.
• Help set poles, frame poles, install crossarms, insulators, conductors, transformers, and other equipment.
• Perform groundwork and provide support to line crews during daily operations.
• Assist with pulling, sagging, and installing overhead conductor.
• Operate hand and power tools used in distribution construction.
• Follow safety procedures and participate in training sessions.
• Load/unload and organize materials and equipment on job sites.
• Set up and clean up job sites and manage traffic control as needed.
• Work from ground or at heights as apprentice level permits.
