Job summary

Primoris T&D Services, LLC seeks an entry-level Underground Lineman Apprentice to learn how to build, maintain, and repair underground electrical distribution and transmission systems under supervision.

You will assist with trenching, bucket truck operations, fault location, and safety compliance while progressing through apprenticeship levels and training programs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Class A CDL or ability to obtain within timeframe.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Outdoor work in all weather, physically demanding tasks up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist experienced Linemen with installation, maintenance, and repair of underground cables, conduits, transformers, switches and related equipment.
• Learn to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and diagrams.
• Operate and maintain hand and power tools, heavy equipment, and specialized machinery safely.

Job Overview:This entry-level apprenticeship position is designed for individuals seeking to develop the skills and knowledge necessary to become a qualified Underground (UG) Lineman.
