Job summary

Barminco Mining Services, part of the Perenti Group, has a Haul Truck Operator opening 65 miles outside Elko, Nevada. You will haul ore and waste, report to the Shift Supervisor, and work a 14-days-on/14-days-off rotation with camp and meals provided.

Requirements include a high school diploma and at least 1 year underground haul truck experience, plus the ability to work independently or in a team, strong communication, and safety compliance. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or equivalency.
• 1 year underground haul truck and/or equipment operation experience.
• Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn and grow.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all Mine site safety rules, procedures and regulations, ensuring safety of others.
• Safely operate underground haul trucks to meet production targets.
• Observe experienced workers to learn methods and standards.
• Document reports detailing work performed, problems diagnosed, pre checks on equipment and shift paperwork.
• Report problems/failures to Shift Supervisor.
