Job summary

Nevada Gold Mines in Carlin, NV is seeking a Haul Truck Operator to join the Carlin Open Pit Hauling department. You will operate haul trucks and support our safety-focused, high-performing team in a dynamic mining environment.

No prior mining experience is required, but reliable work history and basic math, reading, and communication skills are essential. You may work rotating day and night shifts; training and safety programs are provided.

Qualifications

• Entry level; no mining or equipment experience required.
• Able to read, write, and perform basic math for daily reports.
• Reliable work history.
• Basic knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and haul truck functions preferred.
• Ability to communicate with Mine Operations personnel.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Satisfactory safety, performance, and attendance record.
• Experience operating 300-ton haul-trucks preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely and effectively operate haul trucks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• The ability to work a rotating schedule of nights and days is an essential function of this role.
