Job summary

Barminco Mining Services is seeking an Underground Electrician to support a project location 65 miles outside of Elko, Nevada. You will provide electrical expertise for underground and surface equipment, following US electrical code and safety standards.

The role offers a 14-days-on/14-days-off rotation, camp and meals provided, and charter transportation from the muster point. You will work with high voltage systems and critical control equipment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years underground electrical experience.
• Journeyman Electrician certification considerations for 4th year apprentices.
• Knowledge of US Electrical Code and mining safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Read drawings and determine industrial electrical layouts.
• Install, inspect, repair wiring, conduits and electrical components.
• Maintain HV underground supply, substations and switchgear.
• Test equipment for continuity, voltage and resistance.
• Document shift activity and maintain records.
